Your digital badge

This badge contains verifiable information about your certification, what skills and knowledge were tested, how long your certification is valid for and more. In short, a badge is a digital version of your credentials.

Once you have successfully completed a RIPE NCC Certified Professionals exam, you can claim your digital badge. You will receive an email confirmation from Credly with instructions on setting up your account and how to claim your badge. You can also search and apply for job opportunities right through the Credly platform.

Your digital badge is valid for three years from the date on which you took the exam.

How can I share my digital badge?

You can showcase your digital badge in your email signature or digital resume, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

We have partnered with Credly, who will issue your badge once you create an account on their platform. The technology translates your learning outcomes into a digital badge. Once you have created your Credly account, you can manage, share and verify your competencies digitally.

What if I don’t want my badge to be public?

Of course, you don’t have to show off your digital badge, and you can easily configure your privacy settings to keep your information private.

How can I get a certificate?

Your digital badge is the equivalent of a certificate. However if you would still like to receive a certificate, you can download it from your Acclaim account after you have claimed your badge. Go to the ‘Share Badge’ page and click on the printer icon to download the PDF certifying your achievement.
