The RIPE NCC is the Regional Internet Registry for Europe, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia. As such, we allocate and register blocks of Internet number resources to Internet service providers (ISPs) and other organisations.

We’re a not-for-profit organisation that works to support the RIPE (Réseaux IP Européens) community and the wider Internet community. The RIPE NCC membership consists mainly of Internet service providers, telecommunication organisations and other companies that manage their own network infrastructure.

Over the past two decades, our Learning & Development team has delivered training on technical topics such as IP Address management, the RIPE Database, IPv6, network security, BGP, RPKI, routing security and more across our service region of 76 countries. We additionally offer webinars and e-learning through the RIPE NCC Academy.

In 2020, we launched RIPE NCC Certified Professionals – our certification programme. All our certifications are vendor-neutral and promote the use of best practices in line with RFCs. Through our training and certifications, we aim to fulfil our mission of a better, more resilient Internet for everyone.
